… of Kincardine as Executor, and gave in the Inventory of the Personal Estate of the deceased VIOLET SILVER and Oath Hereon underwritten desiring that the same might be inserted and registered in the Sheriff Court Books of Kincardineshire in the Sheriffdom of Aberdeen, Kincardine and Banff; Which desire the said Sheriff found reasonable and ordained the same to be done accordingly and of which Inventory and Oath the tenor follows viz:-  Inventory of the Personal Estate and Effects, wherever situated of VIOLET SILVER, who residing at Redstone, Maryculter in the Parish of Maryculter and who died, testate, on the sixth day of May 1884 at Eastside, Maryculter and had at the time of her death ordinary or principal domicile in the County of Kincardine.

… Kincardine, who being solemnly sworn and examined depones: That the said VIOLET SILVER, who resided at Redstone, Maryculter, died, testate at Eastside, Maryculter aforesaid, on the eighth day of May One thousand eight hundred and eighty four, and had at the time of her death ordinary or principal domicile in the said County of Kincardine: That the deponent is the executor of the said VIOLET SILVER and has entered upon the possession and management of her estate as executor nominated by her along with ALEXANDER SILVER, farmer, Crossley of Maryculter, now deceased and ANDREW EMSLIE, labourer, Maryhillock, of Maryculter, in a mutual Last Will and Testament  executed by her and her brother the new deceased JOSPEH SILVER, who resided at Redstone, Maryculter aforesaid, dated the fifteenth day of July one thousand eight hundred and seventy two, and now exhibited and signed by the deponent, and the said Justice of the Peace as relative hereto; That the deponent does not know of any other Will or Testamentary Settlement or writing relative to the disposal of the deceased’s personal estate or effects or any part thereof:  That the foregoing Inventory signed by the deponent and the said Justice of the Peace as relative hereto, is a full and complete Inventory of the personal estate and effects of the said deceased VIOLET SILVER wheresoever situated and belonging or due to her beneficially at the time of her death, in so far as the same has course to the knowledge of the deponent:  that the said deceased has no heritable estate in this Country in so far as known to…

Memorandum.  The Mutual Last Will and Testament of the late VIOLET SILVER and of her brother the deceased JOSEPH SILVER referred to in the before written affidavit, is recorded in this Register under date 20th April 1883, along with the Inventory of the Personal Estate of the said JOSPEH SILVER.
