His Excellency the Governor in Council has been pleased to award the following rewards to Members of the Police Force, as shown opposite their respective names :
To Sergeant Denis McCarthy, No. 9, 20 pounds, for effecting the capture of Froden (should be Troden) alias Podgy, and Blake, since convicted of having stuck up Henry Aldridge and others, on the Yabber Road.
