Dear Alex, James & all at home,
Thanks very much for writing & hope you are home again by now & feeling better again. The weather is certainly very muggy & hot & suppose we’ll get rain before Xmas. Are you spending your Xmas at Biloela or are they all coming to you. We are hoping to have all our family together for Xmas (dinner at least). We are not sending cards only to people overseas or who live at a distance from us. We put a notice in the paper with our greetings expressed. The postage is too much on top of the expense of cards. What did you think of the election result? Hope the new Government try to do a better job. The people certainly showed them who they wanted. Now, I’d better close & wish you & all the family a very happy Xmas & also a Happy New Year from Ted, myself & all our family.
Love from
Nellie
