Plaque in King's Park, Perth, Western Australia
Given this plaque was sponsored by a friend and not by Harold's family, it is assumed that person was close to him. There are three in memoriam notices published in the West Australian newspaper on 22 Aug 1919. http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article27614990
One of them is from a Muriel. It is presumed that Muriel is the friend who sponsored the plaque. She was most likely Muriel Ranford, daughter of Louis John Ranford of 3 Morriston St, Fremantle, who also submitted a memorial notice.
