MARRIAGE: CLINK-BUSH
A "Mercury" note
The wedding took place, at Holy Trinity Church, Lickey, near Birmingham, of Mr Ralph Ernest Clink, son of Mr and Mrs Ernest G. Clink, of 1a St Alban's Road, Harlesden, and Miss Winifred Elsie Bush, younger daughter of Lieut-Commander C.Bush and Mrs. Bush, of Rubery, Birmingham.
The bridegroom is a well-known in Harlesden, where he was born and has lived all his life.
The honeymoon is being spent in Switzerland and Italy, and the happy couple will then proceed to their new home at Malta, where Mr. R.E.Clink has recently been given a Government appointment.
The bridegroom's father is also very well-known in Harlesden, for he has long been active in the Public Library movement and prominted in political work, and has lived in the district ofr 40 years or more.
The special note of interest to Marylebone readers is the fact that Mr. Clink, is a grandson of the late Ralph Harrison, propriet of the "Marylebone Mercury."
The "Mercury" has been, since the death of Mr. Harrison, the property of his daughters, one of whom is Mr. R.E.Clink's mother, and another is Mrs. Waring, whose husband, the late Mr. Luther Waring, was for many years editor of the "Mercury.
