    SILVER.- In action, Lance-Corporal George M. Silver, Gordon Highlanders (previously reported wounded and missing now officially reported dead, on 30th October 1914), fourth son of James Silver, Nether Muriskie, Maryculter, aged 27* years.
    *Should be 29 but in acceptable range and may even have been typo.
