Notes: Known as Harry. Harry left part of his estate to his nephew Henry Aldridge who returned from Australia in 1883 and stayed for about three years before again going back to live Down Under. Questions as to why his daughter Mary Ann and grandson George Faithful (and was he his natural grandson?) did not seem to benefit. Nephew Henry Aldridge says in his memoirs that his Uncle Harry left him a third of his estate. Perhaps the answer is that Mary Ann was not his child based on fact of 1848 marriage and that she was born about 1845. The only baptism that fits is in Walkern in 1846 to a James and Sarah. Could it be that Henry's parents baptised this child as their own but she was, in fact, Henry's child born out of wedlock to Emily Tyler?
