    An interesting wedding took place at St John's Church, Bury St Edmunds, on Monday, when Miss Margaret Mabel Allison Shaw, only daughter of Mr J.A.Shaw and the late Mrs Shaw, of 30 Springfield Road, was married to Mr Eric Thomas Hobson, eldest son of Mr and Mrs E.Hobson, of Northgate Street.
    The bride was the fist woman member of the Royal Observer Corps and her father was also one of the arly members of that body.
    The bridegroom has served int he 1st Norfolks and the Royal Observer Corps.
