    • Was in America in 1900 staying with his older brother Fred in Utah, but returned to England before 1911. Another brother, Henry, was also with Fred in 1900.
      His obituary confirms him being in both Canada and America and working on the Colorado railway in the US.

      DEPDEN. THIRTY YEARS POSTMASTER.-After having resided in the village for 30 years as Postmaster and general shop keeper, Mr E.E.Prewer has relinquished these offices and taken up residence at Riverside, Brockley.
      Prior to coming to Depeden, he lived at Ousden, having previously lived in the USA for 20 years.
      Mr Prewer is a native of Whepstead and used to be a familiar figure at numerous farm sales where he made a wide circle of friends.
