Pretty Chedburgh Wedding
A pretty wedding took place at All Saints' Church, Chedburgh, when Trooper Dennis Bliss Hill, second son of Mr and Mrs Harold Bliss Hill, of 429 Sparkhill, Birmingham, was married to Miss Joan Orriss, youngest daughter of the late Mr A.Orriss, of Brooke's Corner, Chevington.
The bride is a member of the staff of Langton Cafe, Bury St Edmunds, and the bridegroom is serving with the Royal Armoured Corps.
Given away by her brother (Mr A.Orriss), the bride was charmingly attired in a full-length gown of white taffeta, with veil and orange blossom, lent by Mrs Rolfe.
