COKER-BLACKLEY
St. John's Park Church of England was the scene of a very pretty wedding, when Jessie, daughter of Mr Henry Blackley, and late Mrs. Blackley, of Gosford, was joined in holy matrimony to Mr. Frederick Coker, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. F. Coker of Bibbys Road, Edensor Park, on Saturday, November 6.
The marriage was solemnised by Rev C. N. Steele.
The bride, who entered the church escorted by Mr. Miller, looked very charming in a lovely lace gown over satin, with full-length embroidered tulle veil and coronet of orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of gladioli, red roses and carnations.
The bridesmaids, Misses Pauline and Lorna Coker, were prettily dressed in pale blue satin with headdress of blue veil and red roses. They carried bouquets of pink gladioli and carnations.
Mr. Jack Britewell, of Edensor Park, was best man
During the signing of the register Mr. Bill Johnson sang "Because."
The reception was held at the home of the bridegroom's parents.
The happy couple were the recipients of many handsome presents.
