In 1947, there's a newspaper report (Eastbourne Gazette 31 December 1947, p5) of a Donald Frederick Comber of 125 Whitley Road, Surbiton, caught evading a train fare. His wife and young son are mentioned, but not by name. Earlier in 1947, there's another newspaper report (Eastbourne Chronicle 22 August 1947, p4) that again mentions Donald Comber of 125 Whitley Road, but this time in relation to his sister Winifred's wedding. Her page boy was her nephew, Michael Comber, so this is Donald's presumed son as no other Comber brothers are mentioned. In 1961 Donald F Coker and Beryl D Comber, are living at Giggs Hill Gardens, Esher, Surrey, England. Whether Irene Coker was the boy's mother, is yet to be established.
