  Notes	Seems Mary Ann was the mother of illegitmate twins one of whom died with a few days. 1897 births in the district of Tweedsmuir in the county of Peebles. Twin. No 6 William Cochrane Todd (illegitmate), 1st November, 9am, at Oliver Bank, male, son of Mary Ann Todd, postmistress, informant Mary Ann Todd (mother). Twin No 7 James Hunter Todd (illegitimate) 1st November, 9am, at Oliver Bank, male, son of Mary Ann Todd, postmistress, informant Mary Ann Todd (mother). Note James died within the month. Ref 772/7 Tweedsmuir Age discrepancy but could be surviving twin. TODD WILLIAM COCHRAN, aged 84, died 1984, ref 836/ 9 at Moffat, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland.
