Derry Hill wedding. The marriage took place at Derry Hill Baptist Chapel on Friday of Benjamin, youngest son of Mr and Mrs Gad Wiltshire, of Studley, Calne, and Dorothy, daughter of Mr Charles Giles, of Rumsey Lodge, Calne. The bridegroom's brother, Mr George Wiltshire, was best man. Miss Edith Giles, the bride's sister and Miss Mary Collett were the bridesmaids. The bride was given away by her father. The bride and bridesmaids wore brown and gold velet. Mr W.S.Fletcher, of Chippenham, officiated, assisted by the bridegroom's brother, Mr W.J.Wiltshire, pastor of Guildford. The bridegroom, who is in business as a hairdresser at Derry Hill, has recently been appointed sub-postmaster, After the ceremony a reception was held at the Derry Hill Institute.
