- LONG, Vincent James Born in Wynnum 11.7.1928 - died 27.5.2018 after a long, brave battle. Late of Balmoral. Beloved Husband of Pam (nee Wilson). Son of Patrick and Eve. Brother of Nell, Molly, Brian and Dennis. Brother-in-law, Uncle and Friend to many. Foundation player of Wynnum Manly Rugby League Club and past Federal President of Commonwealth Meat Inspectors Association. Relatives and Friends of Vince are respectfully invited to attend the Requiem Mass at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 25 Main Avenue, Balmoral on Wednesday, 6th June, 2018 commencing at 10.00a.m., immediately followed by the wake (refreshments) at the Parish Hall, prior to the committal at Hemmant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Society of St Vincent de Paul would be appreciated.
