  Notes	This William Silver is believed to be the son of Alexander Silver and Mary Leiper who was born 3 Mar 1808 Wood of Blairs, Maryculter, Kincardineshire, Scotland and died 22 Aug 1888 103 Chapel Street, Old Machar, Aberdeenshire, Scotland He thereafter married Elizabeth Annand but there's no record of the union in parish registers. There are also Ancestry trees which have conflicting parentage for the Alexander Silver who married Mary Leiper which make it difficult to know which line to follow. This may take a fair bit of unravelling.
