    • WEDDING NUNN-SMITH--The wedding was solemnised in the Central Methodist Church recently of Elizabeth Grieve, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. Smith, Harrington - street. Darra, and Gordon David, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Vic Nunn, Law-street, Bundamba. Rev. J. Tainton officiated. The bride entered the church with her father, who gave her away. She was frocked in all over lace and white satin. Her frock featured a full skirt and heart-shaped neckline, with a finger-tip veil embroidered with bells and mounted on a silver lame headpiece. She carried a bouquet of tuber roses and lilies. For something old she wore a cameo pendant loaned to her by a friend. The bride was attended by Mrs. Ron White as matron of honour, and Miss Nola Moloney as bridesmaid. They were frocked in mauve and blue figured or gandie, mounted over taffeta. Both wore picture hats off their faces and carried bouquets of roses, carnations, and charm dahlias. Messrs. Douglas Nunn and Keith Roach attended the groom. While the register was being signed, Mrs. Cameron sang "I'll Walk Beside You." Leaving the church the bride was presented with a horseshoe by Miss Elva Howard. The reception was held at the Capitol Cafe where the bride's mother, assisted by the bride groom's mother, received the guests. Mrs. Smith was frocked in tobacco brown with lime green accessories, and Mrs. Nunn wore a light blue crepe frock with navy accessories. After the reception the guests were entertained to an evening. The honeymoon is being spent at Maroochydore. The bride's travelling frock was of sky blue moss crepe with gold trimmings. She had junior blue accessories.
