WEDDING.-Of local interest is the wedding of Mr. Percy Edward Nunn, son of Mrs. Nunn and the late Mr. Walter Nunn, of Dalham, to Miss Florence Ethel STANTON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.A.Stanton, of Alpha Road, Croydon. They were married at
St. Matthew's Church, Croydon, the Rev. H.C.Paxon conducting the ceremony. "Lead us, Heavenly Father" and "O Perfect Love" were sung during the service. The bride was given away by her father. She was an ivory satin gown, veil and halo (lent by a friend), and carried a bouquet of red rosebuds. There were three bridesmaids-Miss Joyce Webb (bride's cousin), Miss Ella Kidd* (niece of the bridegroom), and Miss Lucy Bond. There were dressed alike in saxe blue marocain, wore silver haloes and shoes, and carried bouquets of bronze chrysanthemums. Mr. Walter Nunn, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. After a reception of about 60 guests at the bride's home, the happy couple left for Brighton. The bride travelled in a blue two-piece suit with gloves and hat to match. Over a hundred useful gifts have been received by Mr. and Mrs. Nunn.
