    • Seems to have returned to England for mother's funeral as he and sister Gertrude are passengers on the Lusitania 20 Mar 1915 ex-Liverpool. The Lusitania was sunk in May.
      Herbert may have also returned to England from USA again as, according to 1930 US census entry, his son Robert was born in England C1919, unless that is an error on census.

      Also, in 1966, he is mentioned in his sister Gertrude's obituary of being of Burnt Hills, Saratoga.
