  	Oregon, Death Index, 1898-2008: Mrs. Sophia Jessie Bezodis, 77, of Gaston, mother of Mrs. George (Ruth) Churchill of Bend, died Tuesday morning at St. Charles Memorial Hospital. She had been spending the holidays with the Churchills. Born July 14, 1894*, in London, England, Mrs. Bezodis came to the United States 10 years ago, and for the past seven years had made her home in Gaston. She was a member of the Church of England. Survivors include her husband, Edward, another daughter, Joan Marshall, in England, and three sons: Tony, of Gaston; Alan, of Aloha; and Eric, in England. She also leaves a brother, Jack, and a sister, Alice, in England, and seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services were held at 1pm today in the Rose City Cemetery chapel, Portland. The Niswonger-Reynolds Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. *Birth record says 1895 which means she died aged 76.
