Excerpt from Morning Bulletin, Wednesday 9 February 1949, page 3:
A happy time was spent at the home of Mr and Mrs Frank Landsberg, Davis Street, when they entertained 12 little friends to celebrate the fourth birthday of their daughter, Wendy Jean. Tiny tots enjoyed games and there were many "oohs and ahs" when the attractive ice cream birthday cake was served.
