However, when Herbert Paton died in 1957, a beneficiary of his 33,000 pound plus estate was his secretary Elizabeth Simpson. On 1939 register Herbert Paton is living in Surrey, England with an Ann Paton and said Elizabeth Simpson is also in house. Was Ann his second wife? Did he divorce Helen?
