- CAMERON-ALDRIDGE . On May 6, the marriage of Ewan B. G. Cameron, of Childers, to Doris May Aldridge, of Ayr, was solemnised by the Rev. J. H. Brown Beresford (an old friend of the bride), at St. Andrews Church, Lutwyche, Brisbane. The bridegroom was supported by his brother, Mr. J. Cameron. The bride was given away by her father. Mrs. Flora Burgess acted as matron of honor. The bride was dressed in a walking frock of air force blue jermaine made in crinoline style, with hat to tone, and she carried an ivory bound prayer book. The reception was held at the Hotel Cecil. The bridal couple motored to Coolangatta, where the honeymoon is being spent. They will make their home in Childers, where the bridegroom is engaged as chief chemist in the Isis Central Mill.
