- THE late Mr Nunn. We regret to record the death of Mr Edward Nunn, who died on June 10th, after a painful illness, most patiently borne. Much sympathy is extended to the widow and son. Mr Nunn was a native of Hargrave, but had lived in Horringer for several years and was in the employ of Mr. A.E.Wood, Street Farm, whe he was first taken ill. He was of a quiet, retiring cnature, but was a general favourite with everyone, and his death at the comparatively early age of 49 is much regretted. The funeral took place at Horringer on Friday, the service being conducted by the Rev. Lord Manners Hervey. The chief mourners were: The widow, Mr Leslie Nunn (son), Mrs. H.Smart, Miss Mary Nunn (sisters). Mr John Nunn, Mr W.Nunn, Mr R.Nunn, Mr H.Nunn,Mr Robert Nunn, Mr Horace Nunn (brothers), Mrs W.Nunn, Mrs. H.Nunn, Mrs W.Everett (sisters-in-law), Mrs H.Smart (brother-in-law), Mrs F.Hunt (niece), Mrs H.Bean, Nurse Johnson and Mrs G.Bullas. Mr. Nunn (father) was unable to be present. * Many others also mentioned.

Notes |
- Edward married Elizabeth Alice (whose surname was also Nunn). After they married in 1915, they adopted a son, Leslie Jack Aldous, born 1917.
On the 1939 census, Elizabeth, who is by then a widow, is found with Leslie Aldous at Sharpes Lane, Horringer, Suffolk. There is also an Aldous family in the next house that is, presumably, related.
