- After he remarried in 1888, he proves hard to track with certainty. According to his older half-brother Henry Aldridge, he moved to Western Australia and that is confirmed by electoral roll entries for a William Aldridge, miner, and Louisa Aldridge living in Robert St, Norseman (Dundas Shire). They are found at same address until 1937 and death entries can be found in WA thus:
