The more likely John Nunn for this family is the John Nunn, widower, buried 16 July 1777. That's based on the fact that Martha Rutlege predeceased this John Nunn. At the website www.a2a.org.uk there are details about acquisitions made by the Hervey family (the third Earl of Bristol) in West Suffolk. The following entry involves a John Nunn of Chevington and is either this John or his son born 1743. However, both are described in other documents as labourers which casts doubts on them having land unless it was a lease situation which they relinquished. There are no other known John Nunns at Chevington who are likely candidates unless further research reveals one. The entry is: FILE - Deeds of fields in Chevington - ref.
