Married:
- Bury and Norwich Post and Suffolk Standard October 14 1890 DRINKSTONE
On Friday, the 3rd inst., the village of Drinkstone was quite astir, owing to the marriage of Mr. Eli Nunn, of Chevington, and Charlotte Maria Revens, of Drinkstone. The bride was given away by her father and attended by four bridesmaids, the ceremony being performed by the Rev. F.E.Horne. A large number of the inhabitants flocked to see the ceremony. The bride wore a dress of peacock blue, trimmed with silver beaded sprays, and white hat trimmed with white watered ribbon and tips and orange blossom. She carried in her hand a large bouquet of white flowers and maiden hair fern. The bells rung out merry peals at intervals during the afternoon.
