    • RECENT WEDDING
      NUNN-LITTLEFORD. - In St. Stephen's Presbyter- ian Church, Jacqueline twin daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Littleford, East Ipswich, was married to Peter Thomson, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. D. Nunn, East Ipswich. Rev. G. S. Johnstone officiated. The bride wore a frock of white moire faille. featuring a stand up collar of silver flame. The skirt had a scalloped train trimmed with tiny silver lame bows and pleated at the waist. Her finger length veil was topped with a matching cap of moire faille and silver lame. The bride's bouquet was a sheath of while gladioli, roses, and orchids. The bridesmaids, Valerie (twin sister of the bride) and Beverley Erskine (her cousin), wore frocks of lemon French sheer of pink taffeta and pink French sheer over lemon taffeta respectively. The flower girl's frock was of white French sheer over pink taffeta. The frocks which were identical were topped with matching caps trimmed with tulle. They carried bouquets of gladioli, roses, and gerberas. Mr. T.* Nunn and Mr. N Shelton attended the groom. The reception was held in the Memorial Hall, where the bride's mother, wearing cornflower blue with pink and navy accessories with a shoulder spray of pink roses, welcomed the guests. She was assisted by the bridegroom's mother, who wore dusky pink with black accessories. Her shoulder spray was of pink carnations. Mr. E. Evans presided, and the three-tiered wedding cake, made by Mrs. L. Jones was iced by Miss L. Raabe. On leaving fr the honeymoon at Ballina, the bride wore a grey faille suit, with wheat yellow and navy accessories.

      *Most likely a cousin, but which one? He had a first cousin Tom Nunn, who was two years older.
