Mrs Aldridge, who was apparently in her usual health, was paying a visit to her sister, Mrs Jim Williamson, who is ill, when suddenly she collapsed and died. Mrs Aldridge, who came to Charters Towers in the early seventies, was a daughter of the late Robert Rollinson, of Graceborough Station, and a sister of Robert James and Arthur Rollinson, all residents of the Charters Towers district.
