    Note that the marriage cert gives Elizabeth's mother's name as Kate Marshall. Kate was in fact her stepmother as Elizabeth's mother Jessie Cruickshank died in 1893 and James Silver did not marry Kate Neil (Marshall married name) until 1901.
    Also note that Elizabeth's second name is Neilson on birth cert but thereafter seems to become Nelson.
