    At Laurencekirk, on the 11th current, at an advanced age, Catherine Jack, relict of the late William Silver. This couple kept a small public house at the west end of the village, during the greater part of their lives, and were among the first settlers of the late Lord Gardenstone place as feuars (land renters) in the village of Laurencekirk.
