No other records have yet been found to be sure as to which James SILVER was his father. Working theory is that BK7656 James Silver son of James Silver and Margaret Leith is the father.

If we assume that her recorded age at death is a couple of years out, then best fit is a 16 Oct 1773 birth at Durris, Kincardine
