Notes:

Harold was a grocer before he served in WWII, at which point he went to Milne Bay in Papua New Guinea with the Army as a private, and at one time a Lance Corporal but mostly a private, in the bomb disposal squad. He went AWOL a few times during the war to be with his family. He was described as being a very gentle man for whom the war would have been the worst thing ever. Because the war was so unpleasant for him, as for many, he never was the same after.

NUNN, Thelma later of Prescare, Carina, formerly of Wynnum. Passed away peacefully on 14th August 2011 in her 95th year. Loved wife of Harold (dec'd). Much loved mother of and mother-in-law of Lesley and Jock (dec'd), Valerie, Jo and Paul, Roy, Beth and Ray. Much loved gran and great-gran of their families. Relatives and friends are warmly invited to attend Thelma's funeral service, on Thrusday, 18th August, 2011, at the Metropolitan Bayside Chapel, 57 Bay Terrace, Wynnum, commencing at 1.30pm.
