FUNERAL. - The Funeral of Miss A. Nunn, whose death occurred at Chedburgh the previous Friday night, took place at the Parish Church, Chevington, last Thursday afternoon. Deceased spent most of her life in London, but came to live in Chedburgh last March, when her failing health necessitated her leaving London. The interment took place in a grave situated beside the deceased's parents. The service was conducted by the Rector (the Rev. A.Keble White). The mourners were Mr. James Nunn, Mr John Nunn, Mr. Charles Nunn and Mr. George Nunn (brothers). Mrs Handley, Mrs. Plummer, Miss J.Nunn and Mrs Cox (sisters), Mrs J.Nunn (sister-in-law), Mr A.Rolfe and Miss M.Rolfe (nephew and niece), and Master Freddie Nunn and Master Bobbie Nunn (nephews). Mrs J.Nunn (sister) was unable, through illness, to attend. Many sympathising friends attended, these including Miss Nunn (Chedburgh), Mrs S.Pettit, Mrs D.Sangster, Miss Sangers, Mrs E.Rolfe, Mrs S.Smith, Mrs M.Cross, Miss D.Argent, Mrs Copping, Mrs. Mundy, Mrs. A. Newnham, and others. The polished coffin bore the inscription: Ann Phillippa Nunn, died November 25th, 1921, aged 56 years." A very choice wreath was lowered upon the coffin into the grave. The tributes placed upon the grave bore the following inscriptions: In loving memory of our dear sister, from Rose and Tom. In loving memory, from John, wife and family. In loving memory of our dear sister, from Sarah, Harry and Winnie. In loving memory of our dear sister, from Jim and Martin. In loving memory of our dear Nan, from Janet, Charlie and George. In loving memory from cousins at Stowmarket. With sympathy from Mrs. Smith and Daisy. In loving memory from Mrs. A.Newman. In loving memory of our dear sister, from Hannah, George and family.

Notes |
- Not on 1881 family census but there is an Annie Nunn born Chevington about 1865 staying with an Alfred Nunn in Surrey and described as his niece. However, this Alfred Nunn is Anne's second cousin. An anomaly? Or just an easier way to describe the family connection? Perhaps the family just referred to him as an uncle even though they knew he was a distant cousin. All speculation of course. She is again found with the same family in 1901 after in 1891 being in service elsewhere. According to obit, she was living in London up until the time of her passing.
Almost certainly the birth mother of George Nunn who is described as a grandson of Anne Philippa Nunn's parents Josiah and Elizabeth.
