894 1864 marriage solemnized at the Parish Church in the Parish of Attleborough in the county of Norfolk. No 354, May 3rd, Nunn Hubbard, full age, bachelor, farmer, of Hargrave, son of Nunn Hubbard*, deceased and Mary Ann Hewitt, full age, spinster, of Attleborough, daught of William Hewitt, salesman.
*This is wrong information as he was the son of Francis Nunn and Emily Hubbard and always known as Nunn Hubbard. No explanation as to why this information was so written on this document. For instance, see 1851 census record that shows him as a 13-year-old in his father's household. He was the base child of Emily Hubbard and Francis Nunn acknowledged he was the child's father. Doesn't seem any doubt about his parentage.
Perhaps the real reason is that he didn't want his wife's family to know his parents weren't married.
