17834 | Reputed father is Walter Pettit. Hargrave Quarter Session Court reference to Martha Nunn and Walter Pettit which apparently indicates non-payment of maintenance This may be the record of his death . UK, Prison Hulk Registers and Letter Books, 1802-1849 Leviathan Register 1801-1836 No 7338 Walter Nunn aged 24, for stealing mare, 18 July 1825 at Chelmsford, life imprisonment, died 6 Nov 1825. He certainly disappears from the records and his wife remarries to his younger brother, so if fits despite the age discrepancy. He was given a death penalty but it's not clear if that was how he died. | NUNN, Walter Pettit (I5414)
