105 Nunn-Malcomson. A pretty wedding was solemnised in the Silkstone Presbyterian Church on September 30. by Rev. Leckenby. the parties being Mr. Dudley Nunn, youngest son of Mrs. R. Nunn, and the late Mr. S. Nunn. Dinmore, and Miss Eileen Mary Malcolmson, second youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs T. J. Malcolmson, Ebbw Vale.
Miss Joan Westwood presided at the organ. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of ivory chenlle embossed net over satin.
It was made on Empire lines, the bodice showing touches of shirring.
The short sleeves were full at the shoulders, and the graceful skirt was graduated to form a long train.
Over this billowed her tulle veil, which was caught to the head with a cluster of frangipanni. She carried a shower bouquet of carnations and roses.
The bride was attended by her sisters.
Mrs. T. Dickson (Matron of Honour), and Miss Isabel Malcolmson, and Miss Joan Greives (a friend) (bridesmaids)
They were dressed alike in early Vic torian frocks of white self-patterned organza with full picture skirts.
The bodices were tucked to form deep square yokes.
They wore large white organza hats to match their frocks, and carried bouquets, of mauve sweet peas and carnations.
Mr. Bert Nunn was best man. During the signing of the register. Mr. T. S. Westwood sang "My Prayer."
The reception was held at the home of Mrs. Hoepner. Mrs. Malcolmson received the guests wearing a frock of grey delustred crepe with navy ac cessories. Green crepe romaine was the choice of the bridegroom's mother.
On leaving for the honeymoon, which was spent at Burleigh Heads. Mrs. Dudley Nunn travelled in Aphrodite Pacific crepe with white accessories

THE Albert Street Methodist Church, Brisbane, was the scene of the marriage of Miss Elva Jane Aldridge, of Beaudesert, and Mr. Gregory Small of East Brisbane. The bride is the younger daughter of Mr. and Mr. J. Aldridge.
The bride wore a gown of all over lace over satin, the bodice featuring a high neck, yoke of georgette appliqued with lace, and short sleeves. The full skirt fell into a short train. The veil was of tulle, appliqued with satin lilies and held in position with sprigs of orange blossom. Her bouquet was of eucharist lilies, tuberoses and frangipani, and she wore her grandmother's century-old gold brooch.
She was attended by her sister, Mrs. Len Yates, as matron of honour, and Mr. Colin Spilsbury was best man. The couple sailed for Sydney and Melbourne in the Ormiston after the reception.

This is Hannah and her husband George Handley whom she married in 1905. He brought three children into the marriage, presumably after their mother died. They later settled in Suffolk where they are found on the 1939 register at Depden.
